- do i need to put syringes in another sharps container before putting them in the 5 gallon container?
- Yes you can put this in a sharps container and then place the sharps container in the 5 gallon or if you are using this system at home, a simple detergent bottle will work. The USPS does not allow "loose" syringes being placed in the bucket systems which is the reason for this. I hope that answers your question.
